Day 1 – Arrival in Istanbul and meeting at the airport

Day 2 – Sultanahmet – Old Istanbul (B)
Meeting at the hotel reception at 09:00am
Visit to Topkapi Palace, which was used by the Ottoman Sultans from the 15th to 19th centuries. We will also see the impressive collection of priceless jewels, crystal, silver and porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and relics of the prophet Mohammed.. After lunch break we will see the Blue Mosque, built for Sultan Ahmet I, which is a unique piece of architecture with its six minarets and features 20,000 beautiful Iznik tiles. Visit the ancient Hippodrome with Obelisk of Theodosius, Snake Pillar and German Fountain of Wilhelm II. Walk through the back streets of Old Istanbul and visit the Yerebatan underground Cistern. At the end of the tour, at request, free time to see the Grand Covered Bazaar (except Sundays). *May be done as a walking tour if your hotel is centrally located. Overnight Istanbul.
Day 3 – Bosphorus Cruise with St. (Haghia) Sophia & Beylerbeyi (B)

Visit the exotic Egyptian Spice Market on the Golden Horn. Board your cruise of the Bosphorus, the waterway, which separates the continents of Europe and Asia. Pass Rumeli fortress, built by Mehmet the Conqueror in 1452 to prepare for his conquest of Istanbul. Cross over the Bosphorus Bridge to Asia and visit Beylerbeyi Palace, which was the summer residence of the Ottoman Sultans, then on to Camlica Hill for a magnificent view of Istanbul. Time for lunch in a seaside fish restaurant. Visit The St. (Haghia) Sophia, which was built by the Emperor Justinian. It was the largest building in the world for over 1000 years. See its intricate mosaics and huge central dome. Order of visits may be reversed. Return to Hotel around 17:00pm.
Day 4 – Istanbul- Cappadocia (B.L)
Pick up from hotel early morning for departure to Cappadocia
Take the early morning flight from Ataturk Airport in Istanbul to Cappadocia. Arrival at the airport and meeting just outside the arrival’s gate with a sign bearing your name with your driver. Transfer to Cappadocia. Tour to Kaymaklı Underground City, one of the most interesting underground settlements in Cappadocia. Drive to to Sahinefendi ( Sobesos )- Sobessos is newly discovered (01 May 2002) mosaic houses & Archaeological excavation site. Villages in the valleys, surrounded by the “table top” mountains, are spectacular. Continue with Keslik Monastery near Cemil, that hides it’s frescoes behind a very thin smoke layer which we can only see by torch light. Lunch break. Visit to Mustafapaşa (Sinasos), an old Greek town with its spectacular old Greek houses; very fine examples of late Greek settlements and architecture. Visit to Saruhan Caravanserai, a roadside inn where travellers could rest and recover from the day’s journey. Caravanserais supported the flow of commerce, information and people across a network of trade routes of Asia, North Africa and South-Eastern Europe on the legendary Silk Road and the Spice road. Continue with panorama of the Red Valley, with its fabulous volcanic rock formations, is in the heart of Cappadocia but away from the tourist crowd. Overnight Cappadocia
Day 5 – Cappadocia (B.L)

In the morning, first meeting with the lunar landscape of Cappadocia: rock formations beyond belief in Devrent valley; a journey in the past with its troglodyte houses, visit to Pasabag “fairy chimneys” where the voice of wind mixes with the “songs of fairies” near Zelve. Lunch break in Avanos, centre of terra cotta work of art since 3000 BC. and a demonstration in a traditional pottery workshop. Afternoon, visit the famous Goreme Open Air Museum and see the best examples of Byzantine art in Cappadocia in rock-cut churches with frescoes and paintings (10th to 13th century). Continue to Uchisar Rock-Castle to have a panoramic view of the valleys of Cappadocia. Overnight Cappadocia
Day 6 – Cappadocia (B.L)

Drive to Ihlara, hiking in Ihlara Canyon, a “mirage” in the Steps of Anatolia up to Belisirma village, the ancient Peristrema: “Valley of the Sky” along the Melendiz River. Rock-cut churches, spread across a wild plantation, surprise you with their successfully painted representations from the Bible. Lunch in Belisirma, a local restaurant by the river. Stop by Selime, a village with cave houses at the end of the canyon and a “star wars” like landscape. Overnight Cappadocia
Day 7 – Cappadocia – Ephesus (B.L)
Pick-up from hotel 2 hours before flight departure.
Arrival and meeting at the airport with your name sign. Transfer to Ephesus.
Visit to the ancient city of Ephesus. We will spend several hours walking in the footsteps of Alexander the Great, Caesar, Cicero, Apostles Paul and John and many other familiar historical names. The recently opened Terrace Houses (entry extra) where the wealthiest Romans lived are an excellent example of sensitive excavation and presentation. The mosaics and frescos are spectacular. Tradition has it that Virgin Mary was brought here by St John after the Crucifixion and lived her final years near the city of Ephesus on an isolated mountaintop. A lovely chapel is constructed on the site tended by Franciscans and open to visitors. It has been designated a pilgrimage site by the Pope. Visit to temple of Artemis to see the remains of one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Overnight Kusadasi near Ephesus.
Day 8 – Pamukkale- Hierapolis- Laodicea (188 km) (B.D)

Drive to Pamukkale, on the way, visit to Laodicea (present name Denizli) yet one of the Seven Churches of Asia Minor. Excavations still going on and an ancient city as beautiful as Ephesus will be uncovered soon. We see the ancient theatres, the remains of basilica which was recently uncovered, ancient stone water pipes, Temple A, agora, monumental fountain. After Laodicea, Discovery of Travertine terraces and Hierapolis. The travertine terraces at Pamukkale are one of the most spectacular natural wonders that you can see from various mineral springs in a vast white cliff side. About 200 m overlooking the plain, calcite-laden waters have dripped down over a series of terraced levels and created a fairyland of bizarre solidified cascades and shell-shaped basins. It looks like creations from snow or like balls from cotton, which gave the scenery the Turkish name Pamukkale (cotton castle): “pamuk” for cotton and “kale” for castle. Moreover the water in the basins is changing its color according to how the light enters. Overnight Pamukkale.
Day 9 – Pamukkale to Marmaris for a Mini Cruise (D) ( Departures: Friday/Saturday/Monday)

Transfer from Pamukkale to fethiye. Board the boat in Marmaris at 15:30 from Marmaris Harbour. Guests who arrive early may leave their luggage at the Barbaros Yachting Office. On the first day, the service starts on the boat with dinner and overnight stay in Marmaris Port. Marmaris which was built upon one of the antique Karian cities called Phyckos, has been under the rule of many different civilizations. The most valuable work of art that you can see today is Marmaris Castle dating from 1577. There is also a mosque and an 8-room caravansary covered with arches from the Ottoman Period. The ruins of the Antique times lie on Asar Hill; a small, low hill located on the northern side of the city. Being one of the best-known touristic places of Turkey, Marmaris has also a large marina.
Day 10: Ekincik Gulf – Dalyan (B.L.D)
After your breakfast, you will be informed about the cruise itinerary and the boat. The cruise will move towards Ekincik Gulf. You may join our optional Dalyan Tour from here. You will be taken from your yacht by a small boat called “piyade”. You will arrive at Caretta-Caretta (turtle) Beach and take a swimming break here. You will enjoy the natural beauty of the delta as you cruise along the river. You will see the ancient Rock Tombs and finally arrive at mud baths to relax and be rejuvenated. A fishing village called Dalyan will be our final destination after we return to our yacht by piyade boat. Dinner and overnight stay will be in the Gulf of Ekincik. .
Day 11:Adali Bay – Manastir – Tersane Island (B.L.D)
Because of the wavy seas of Dişibilmez and Kurtoğlu that we have to cross, we will cruise earlier than the other days and reach the world-famous Fethiye Gulf. We will anchor at Adalı Bay for breakfast. For lunch and a swimming break, we will go to Manastır Bay. This place is known as Cleopatra Bay or Sunken Bath Bay due to the beautiful underwater ruins of an old bath. We will anchor at Tersane Island for dinner and overnight stay. This naturally protected harbour was used as the shipyard in Byzantine and Ottoman times.
Day 12: Kizil Island – Fethiye (B.L.D)
After breakfast, we will cruise to Kızıl Island for lunch and a swimming break. On the fourth day of our cruise, we will arrive in Fethiye Harbour around 16:00 p.m. The guests who joined for ‘Mini Cruise’ may leave the boat here. Fethiye, which was known as Telmessos in the ancient times, was the most important city situated on Lycia’s western border with Caria. It is believed that the city’s name comes from Apollon’s son Telmessos. As the name suggests, the city was the city of light and was famous for its prophets. Fethiye stretches in a half circle along the bay protected by 12 Islands. You can visit the city centre if you wish. Dinner and overnight stay will be in Fethiye Harbour.
Day 13: Fethiye – Istanbul (B)
After breakfast in Fethiye, it’s time to bid farewell to your shipmates, gulet & crew.
Transfer to Dalaman airport and take the Turkish Airlines morning flight to Istanbul Ataturk airport. Arrival and transfer to Hotel. Free afternoon for a last chance to complete your visits. Overnight Istanbul.

DÍA 1 – LLEGADA A ESTAMBUL Y REUNIÓN EN EL AEROPUERTO

DÍA 2 – SULTANAHMET – ESTAMBUL ANTIGUA (D)
Visita al palacio de Topkapi, que fue utilizado por los sultanes otomanos desde el siglo XV hasta el siglo XIX. También veremos la impresionante colección de joyas de incalculable valor, cristal, plata y porcelana, túnicas usadas por los sultanes y reliquias del profeta Mahoma. Después de la pausa del almuerzo, veremos la Mezquita Azul, construida para el Sultán Ahmet I, que es una pieza arquitectónica única con sus seis minaretes y cuenta con 20,000 hermosos azulejos de Iznik. Visite el antiguo Hipódromo con el Obelisco de Teodosio, el Pilar de la Serpiente y la Fuente alemana de Wilhelm II. Camine por las calles secundarias del casco antiguo de Estambul y visite la Cisterna subterránea de Yerebatan. Al final del recorrido, a petición, tiempo libre para ver el Gran Bazar Cubierto (cerrado los domingos).* Pernocte en Estambul.
DIA 3 – CRUCERO POR EL BOSFORO CON HAGIA SOPHIA Y PALACIO DE BEYLERBEYI (D)
Visite el exótico Mercado de las Especias Egipcias en el Cuerno de Oro. Suba a bordo de su crucero por el Bósforo, la vía fluvial, que separa los continentes de Europa y Asia. Pase la fortaleza de Rumeli, construida por Mehmet el Conquistador en 1452 para preparar su conquista de Estambul. Cruce el puente del Bósforo hacia Asia y visite el Palacio de Beylerbeyi, que fue la residencia de verano de los sultanes otomanos, y luego a la colina de Camlica para una magnífica vista de Estambul. Tiempo para almorzar en un restaurante de pescado junto al mar. Visita la Santa Sofía (Haghia), que fue construida por el emperador Justiniano. Fue el edificio más grande del mundo durante más de 1000 años. Ver sus intrincados mosaicos y su enorme cúpula central. Pernocte en Estambul.
DÍA 4 – ESTAMBUL- CAPADOCIA (D, A)
Tomaremos el vuelo de la mañana a Capadocia. Después de llegar a Capadocia, comenzaremos con la visita a la ciudad subterranea de Kaymaklı, uno de los asentamientos subterráneos más interesantes de Capadocia. Continuacion hasta Sahinefendi (Sobesos): Sobesos se descubrió recientemente (01 de mayo de 2002) en las casas de mosaicos y en el sitio de excavación arqueológica. Continúa con el Monasterio Keslik cerca de Cemil, que esconde los frescos detrás de una capa de humo muy delgada que solo podemos ver con la luz de lamparas. Pausa para almorzar. Visita a Mustafapaşa (Sinasos), una antigua ciudad griega con sus espectaculares casas griegas antiguas; Muy buenos ejemplos de asentamientos y arquitectura griega. Visite Caravanserai de Saruhan, una posada en la carretera donde los viajeros podian descansar y recuperarse del viaje del día. Continuacion con el panorama del Valle Rojo, con sus fabulosas formaciones de roca volcánica, está en el corazón de Capadocia, pero lejos de la multitud de turistas. Pernocte en Capadocia.
DIA 5 – CAPADOCIA (D, A)
Por la mañana, primer encuentro con el paisaje lunar de Capadocia: formaciones rocosas increíbles en el valle de Devrent; un viaje en el pasado con sus casas trogloditas, visita a las “chimeneas de hadas” de Pasabag, donde la voz del viento se mezcla con las “canciones de las hadas” cerca de Zelve. Almuerzo en Avanos, centro de obras de arte de terracota desde el año 3000 a.C y una demostración en un taller de cerámica tradicional. Por la tarde, visite el famoso Museo al aire libre de Goreme y vea los mejores ejemplos de arte bizantino en Capadocia en iglesias excavadas en la roca con frescos y pinturas (siglos X a XIII). Continúe hasta el castillo de piedra de Uchisar para tener una vista panorámica de los valles de Capadocia. Pernocte en Capadocia.
DIA 6 – CAPADOCIA (D, A)
Viaje hasta Ihlara, caminata por el cañón de Ihlara hasta la aldea de Belisirma, el antiguo Peristrema: “Valle del cielo” a lo largo del río Melendiz. Iglesias excavadas en la roca, repartidas en una plantación silvestre, te sorprenden con sus representaciones de la Biblia pintadas con éxito. Almuerzo en Belisirma, un restaurante local junto al río. Pasa por Selime, un pueblo con casas cueva al final del cañón y un paisaje lunar. Pernocte en Capadocia.
DIA 7 – CAPADOCIA – EFESO (D, A)
Recogida en el hotel 2 horas antes de la salida del vuelo.
Tome el vuelo de la mañana de Kayseri a Esmirna (directo o por Estambul).
Traslado del aeropuerto a Éfeso para visitar la antigua ciudad de Éfeso. Pasaremos varias horas siguiendo los pasos de Alejandro Magno, César, Cicerón, los apóstoles Pablo y Juan y muchos otros nombres históricos familiares. Las recientemente inauguradas Casas Terraza, donde vivían los romanos más ricos, son un excelente ejemplo de excavaciones y presentaciones sensibles. Los mosaicos y frescos son espectaculares. La tradición dice que la Virgen María fue traída aquí por San Juan después de la Crucifixión y vivió sus últimos años cerca de la ciudad de Éfeso en la cima de una montaña aislada. Se construyo una hermosa capilla en el sitio, atendida por franciscanos y abierta a los visitantes. Ha sido designado como lugar de peregrinación por el Papa. Continuaremos con la iglesia de San Juan, donde el apóstol Juan pasó sus últimos años y fue sepultado. Visita al templo de Artemisa para ver los restos de una de las Siete Maravillas del Mundo Antiguo. Pernocte en Kusadasi cerca de Éfeso.
DÍA 8 – PAMUKKALE- HIERAPOLIS- LAODICEA (D, C)
Por la mañana salida hacia Pamukkale, en el camino, visita a Laodicea (nombre actual Denizli), una de las siete iglesias de Asia Menor. Las excavaciones continúan y una ciudad antigua tan hermosa como Éfeso se descubrirá pronto. Vemos los antiguos teatros, los restos de basílica que se descubrieron recientemente, las antiguas tuberías de agua de piedra, el Templo A, el ágora, la fuente monumental. Después de Laodicea, el descubrimiento de las terrazas de travertino y Hierápolis. Las terrazas de travertino en Pamukkale son una de las maravillas naturales más espectaculares que se pueden ver desde varios manantiales minerales en un vasto acantilado blanco. Alrededor de 200 m sobre la llanura, las aguas cargadas de calcita se han derramado sobre una serie de niveles escalonados y han creado un terreno de hadas con extrañas cascadas solidificadas y cuencas con forma de concha. Se parece a las creaciones de nieve o bolas de algodón, que dieron al escenario el nombre turco Pamukkale (castillo de algodón): “pamuk” para algodón y “col rizada” para castillo. Además, el agua en las cuencas está cambiando su color de acuerdo con la forma en que entra la luz. Pernocte en Pamukkale.
DIA 9 – PAMUKKALE A MARMARIS PARA UN MINI CRUCERO ( (SALIDAS: VIERNES / SABADO / LUNES) (D)
Traslado de Pamukkale a Fethiye. Aborde el barco en Marmaris a las 15:30 desde el puerto de Marmaris. Los huéspedes que lleguen temprano pueden dejar su equipaje en la Oficina de Yates de Barbaros. El primer día, el servicio comienza en el barco con cena y alojamiento en el puerto de Marmaris. Marmaris, que se construyó sobre una de las antiguas ciudades de Karian llamadas Phyckos, ha estado bajo el dominio de muchas civilizaciones diferentes. La obra de arte más valiosa que se puede ver hoy en día es el castillo de Marmaris, que data de 1577. También hay una mezquita y un caravanserai de 8 habitaciones cubiertas con arcos del período otomano. Las ruinas de los tiempos antiguos se encuentran en la colina de Asar; una pequeña colina baja situada en el lado norte de la ciudad.
DÍA 10: GOLFO DE EKINCIK – DALYAN (D, A, C)
Después de su desayuno, se le informará sobre el itinerario del crucero y el barco. El crucero se moverá hacia el golfo de Ekincik. Un pequeño bote llamado “piyade” lo sacará de su yate. Llegará a la playa Caretta-Caretta y tomará un descanso para nadar aquí. Disfrutará de la belleza natural del delta mientras navega por el río. Verás las antiguas tumbas de roca y, finalmente, llegarás a los baños de lodo para relajarte y rejuvenecerte. Un pueblo pesquero llamado Dalyan será nuestro destino final después de que regresemos a nuestro yate en un barco de piyade. Cena y alojamiento en el Golfo de Ekincik.
DIA 11: BAHİA DE ADALI – MANASTIR – ISLA TERSANE (D, A, C)
Debido a los mares ondulados de Dişibilmez y Kurtoğlu que debemos cruzar, navegaremos más temprano que los otros días y llegaremos al mundialmente famoso Golfo de Fethiye. Fondearemos en Adalı Bay para desayunar. Tiempo para el almuerzo y un descanso para la natación, iremos a la bahia de Manastır. Este lugar es conocido como la bahía de Cleopatra o la bahía de baño hundido debido a las hermosas ruinas submarinas de un baño antiguo. Anclaremos en la isla de Tersane para cenar y pasar la noche. Este puerto protegido naturalmente se usó como el astillero en los tiempos bizantinos y otomanos.
DIA 12: ISLA DE KIZIL – FETHIYE (D, A, C)
Después del desayuno, haremos un crucero a la isla Kızıl para el almuerzo y un descanso para nadar. El cuarto día de nuestro crucero, llegaremos al puerto de Fethiye alrededor de las 16:00. Fethiye se extiende en medio círculo a lo largo de la bahía protegida por 12 islas. Puedes visitar el centro de la ciudad si lo deseas. Cena y alojamiento será en el puerto de Fethiye.
DIA 13: FETHIYE – ESTAMBUL (D)
Después del desayuno en Fethiye, es hora de despedirse de sus compañeros de barco, goleta y tripulación.
Traslado al aeropuerto de Dalaman y tome el vuelo a Estambul. Llegada y traslado al hotel. Tarde libre. Pernocte en Estambul.
