Cruise Tour Turkey and Greece

Day 1 – Bodrum

Aboard the yacht, you will be greeted by our friendly and professional crew. On the first day, our boat will be anchored at Bodrum Port for dinner and overnight stay. Bodrum has a history that goes back to the 12th century B.C. The city which was called ‘Halicarnassus’ was the birthplace of Herodotus; the ‘Father of History’ who lived in the 5th century B.C. The ‘Mausoleum’ of King Mausolus (350 B.C.) which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World is in this city. The only structure that survived from the Classical Era is the Amphitheatre. It is one of the oldest theatres in Anatolia with a capacity of 13.000 guests, and is still hosting many shows and concerts for the art-lovers of Bodrum. Another place that you should visit whilst in Bodrum is the landmark of the city ‘Castle of Saint Peter’. It is one of the best preserved pieces of architecture with a history that dates back to the middle Ages. ‘Myndos Gate’ through which Alexander the Great entered Halicarnassus is another place that you should not miss.

Day 2 – Cos ( Kos )

Whilst you have breakfast, you will be informed about the cruise itinerary. After the paper work at customs is completed we will cruise to Kos Island. Asclepion, known to be the birth place of Hippocrates, ‘the Father of Medical Sciences’, is located here. All the East- Mediterranean people with health problems were treated in Kos. Kos; the second largest island of the Dodecanese has a very mild climate and very fertile lands. The island houses a 560-year-old tree, a 211-year-old fountain and a 290 km long beach. You may take a quick swim in Lambi Beach which is very close to Kos Harbour. Cos is one of the islands with the best night life. Nafklirou, a street full of bars, is always crowded, colourful and full of life.

Day 3 – Gyali – Nisiros

Early in the morning we will cruise to Gyali Island and have a swimming break. There is no settlement and only pumice stone remains on this little volcanic island. We will cruise to Nisiros. The volcano on Nisiros island- which means ‘the place with figs’- in the Aegean Sea- erupted in 1422 and is still active. Nikea village located on the side of the crater is constituted with white streets and a mosaic-style square. You can take an optional bus tour to the crater which is still active and you will see the gases coming from the underground. Dinner and overnight stay will be on in this little, peaceful island.

Day 4 – Symi

We will set sail for Simi Island early in the morning and arrive at the Monastry of Panormitis which is located in the southern part of Simi. It is possible to visit the Monastery and the Museum on this well-protected and peaceful bay. After having a swimming break on the eastern shores of the island, we will anchor at the port early in the evening. You can see the shore-side with its neo-classical houses and the peripheral districts. You are going to adore Simi for its pine and oak forests and unique bays.

Day 5 – Rhodes

We will cruise to Rhodes early in the morning. Rhodes is the largest of the Dodecanese Islands. The island is a very popular holiday place as it has one of the best-protected and the largest European Medieval city and has warm weather 300 days of a year. Rhodes has been home for many civilizations; starting with the knights of St.John in the Middle Ages, then Ottomans and Italians; thus the island has a unique historical harmony and beauty. The main port of Rhodes is the Rhodes Town which bears the same name as the island. The other very touristic areas of Rhodes island are; Lyndos and Kamiros. The city, which is still surrounded by 12 meter-thick city-walls, gives you the feeling of travelling back to Medieval times especially when you walk around its narrow, stone-paved roads. After dinner, our guests are highly recommended to enjoy a Rhodes night out.

Day 6 – Datca – Palamutbuku – Knidos (Cnidus)

We will cruise to Rhodes early in the morning. Rhodes is the largest of the Dodecanese Islands. Day 7 – Poyraz – Meteor – Bodrum

We will start to cruise early in the morning to Karaada (Black Island). Breakfast and a swimming stop will be at Poyraz Bay which is located on the northern side of the island. This is such a nice bay with its turquoise-blue waters. We will be anchoring at Meteor Bay for lunch which is located on the southern side of the island. There is a meteor hole here and this is how the bay got its name. Here you may jump over the platform into the deep water. You may also take a walk through the underwater caves which are very near to Meteor Bay for a small local fee. We will dock in Bodrum Harbour for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8 – Bodrum

Enjoy breakfast back in Bodrum port, then disembarkation with our best wishes and hopes to see you again

DIA 1 – BODRUM

A bordo del yate, será recibido por nuestro amable y profesional equipo. El primer día, nuestro barco estará anclado en el puerto de Bodrum para cenar y pasar la noche. Bodrum tiene una historia que se remonta al siglo XII a.C. La ciudad que fue llamada “Halicarnassus” fue el lugar de nacimiento de Heródoto; el “padre de la historia” que vivió en el siglo V a.C. El “Mausoleo” del Rey Mausolus (350 aC), que fue una de las Siete Maravillas del Mundo, se encuentra en esta ciudad. La única estructura que sobrevivió de la Era Clásica es el Anfiteatro. Es uno de los teatros más antiguos de Anatolia con una capacidad de 13.000 invitados, y todavía alberga muchos espectáculos y conciertos para los amantes del arte de Bodrum. Otro lugar que debes visitar mientras estés en Bodrum es el punto de referencia de la ciudad, el “Castillo de San Pedro”. Es una de las piezas arquitectónicas mejor conservadas con una historia que se remonta a la Edad Media. “Puerta de Myndos” a través de la cual Alejandro Magno entró en Halicarnaso es otro lugar que no debe perderse.

 

DIA 2 – KOS

Mientras desayuna, se le informará sobre el itinerario del crucero. Después de que se complete el papeleo en la aduana, navegaremos a la isla de Kos. Aquí se encuentra Asclepion, conocido por ser el lugar de nacimiento de Hipócrates, el “Padre de las Ciencias Médicas”. Todas las personas del Mediterráneo oriental con problemas de salud fueron tratadas en Kos. Es la segunda isla más grande del Dodecaneso, tiene un clima muy suave y tierras muy fértiles. La isla alberga un árbol de 560 años, una fuente de 211 años y una playa de 290 km de largo. Puede darse un baño rápido en la playa Lambi, que está muy cerca del puerto. Kos es una de las islas con mejor vida nocturna. Nafklirou, una calle llena de bares, está siempre llena de gente, llena de color y vida.

 

DIA 3 – GYALI – NISIROS

Temprano en la mañana navegaremos a la isla Gyali y tendremos un descanso para nadar. No hay asentamientos y solo queda piedra pómez en esta pequeña isla volcánica. Continuamos a la isla Nisiros. El volcán en la isla Nisiros, que significa “el lugar con higos” en el mar Egeo, entró en erupción en 1422 y todavía está activo. El pueblo Nikea ubicado en el lado del cráter está constituido por calles blancas y una plaza de estilo mosaico. Puede tomar un tour en autobús opcional al cráter que todavía está activo y verá los gases que vienen del subterráneo. Cena y alojamiento en esta pequeña y tranquila isla.

 

DIA 4 – SYMI

Zarparemos hacia la isla Simi a primera hora de la mañana y llegaremos al monasterio de Panormitis, ubicado en la parte sur de Simi. Es posible visitar el Monasterio y el Museo en esta bahía bien protegida y tranquila. Después de tomar un descanso para nadar en la costa este de la isla, anclaremos en el puerto temprano en la noche. Puedes ver la orilla con sus casas neoclásicas y los distritos periféricos. Usted va a adorar a Simi por sus bosques de pinos y robles y bahías únicas.

 

DIA 5 – RODAS

Navegamos a Rodas temprano en la mañana. Rodas es la más grande de las islas del Dodecaneso. La isla es un lugar de vacaciones muy popular, ya que tiene una de las ciudades medievales más protegidas y más grandes de Europa y tiene un clima cálido durante los 300 días del año. Rhodes ha sido el hogar de muchas civilizaciones; comenzando con los caballeros de San Juan en la Edad Media, luego otomanos e italianos; Así, la isla tiene una armonía y belleza histórica única. El principal puerto de Rodas es la ciudad de Rodas, que lleva el mismo nombre que la isla. Las otras áreas muy turísticas de la isla de Rodas son; Lyndos y Kamiros. La ciudad, que todavía está rodeada por muros de 12 metros de espesor, le da la sensación de viajar a la época medieval, especialmente cuando camina por sus estrechas carreteras empedradas. Después de la cena, se recomienda a nuestros huéspedes que disfruten de una noche en Rodas.

 

DÍA 6 – DATCA – PALAMUTBUKU – KNIDOS

Por la mañana contiuamos con el recorrido hacia Datca, luego parada en Palamutbuku y finalizando el dia en Knidos.

 

DIA 7 – POYRAZ – METEOR – BODRUM

Comenzaremos a navegar por la mañana temprano a Karaada (Isla Negra). El desayuno y una parada para nadar serán en la bahía de Poyraz, ubicada en el lado norte de la isla. Esta es una bahía tan bonita con sus aguas azul turquesa. Estaremos anclando en Meteor Bay para el almuerzo que se encuentra en el lado sur de la isla. Aquí hay un agujero de meteorito y así es como la bahía obtuvo su nombre. Aquí puedes saltar sobre la plataforma al agua profunda. También puede dar un paseo por las cuevas submarinas que están muy cerca de Meteor Bay por una pequeña tarifa local. Nos atracaremos en el puerto de Bodrum para cenar y pasar la noche.

 

DIA 8 – BODRUM

Disfrute del desayuno de vuelta en el puerto de Bodrum, luego desembarque con nuestros mejores deseos y esperamos volver a verlo.
