We will start this tour with visiting the historical underground city of Cappadocia, Professional Tour Guide and driver first pick you up in the hotel and give general information about the tour , and together heading to Kaymakli Underground City . it is contained within the citadel of Kaymaklı in the Central Anatolia Region of Turkey. First opened to tourists in 1964,. The houses in the village are constructed around the nearly one hundred tunnels of the underground city. The tunnels are still used today as storage areas, stables, and cellars. Of the four floors open to tourists, each space is organized around ventilation shafts. This makes the design of each room or open space dependent on the availability of ventilation.
it is certain that Kaymakli is one of the largest underground settlements in the region. It is accepted as the widest underground city of Cappadocia, among the explored ones. The number of the storage rooms in such a small area supports the idea that a great number of people resided here. Archeologists think that this could have been up to 3500 people.
Destination 2:Rose and Red Valley
Rose Valley is a large valley located between Goreme and Cavusin villages, and it is divided into many smaller valleys: Gulludere, Kizilcukur, Meskendir and Zindanonu valleys. This beautiful valley gets its name from the rose-colored rock that varies in hue and intensity depending on time of day, season and weather conditions. During the hike we will visit several cave churches, cave houses and cave tunnels. Rose Valley has paths for easy, medium and difficult levels. The most common path in the valley takes around 2 hours (3.5 km).

The next stop is in Ürgüp. The Üzümlü Church, Cambazli Church and Sarica Church in Ortahisar which was one of the villages of Ürgüp are the oldest rock churches from the region. Furthermore and Tavsanli Church and Church of Saint Basileious are the spectacular places. Ürgüp which has got the famous cave hotels, wines and hand made carpets is the most important tourism center of the Cappaddocia Region. The old cave houses were restored as a touristy cave hotel without damaging their historic structure.

You will end this tour visiting the Pigeon Valley, that has become quite popular with hikers. It is known by many names (Valley of the Pigeon Lofts, Dovecote Valley, Pigeon Valley) but they all refer to the thousands of pigeon houses that have been carved into the soft tufa since ancient times. Although they can be found throughout Cappadocia, they are especially plentiful in this valley which must have one of the greatest collections of pigeon lofts in the world. They were carved wherever space allowed including abandoned caves and the walls of collapsed churches. They lack the architectural interest of the doocots of Scotland or the elaborate Persian pigeon towers but their sheer numbers are astonishing. In Cappadocia, pigeons have long been a source of food and fertilizer. The advent of chemical fertilizers has reduced the use of pigeon fertilizer. However, some farmers still maintain their lofts because they insist that the reputation of Cappadocian fruits as the sweetest and most succulent in Turkey is entirely due to the pigeons’ droppings. DESTINO 1: LA CIUDAD SUBTERRANEA DE KAYMAKLI
Comenzaremos este recorrido visitando la ciudad subterránea histórica de Capadocia, se encuentra dentro de la ciudadela de Kaymaklı en la región de Anatolia Central de Turquía. Abierto por primera vez a turistas en 1964. Las casas en el pueblo están construidas alrededor de los casi cien túneles de la ciudad subterránea. Los túneles todavía se utilizan hoy en día como áreas de almacenamiento, establos y bodegas. De los cuatro pisos abiertos a los turistas, cada espacio se organiza alrededor de conductos de ventilación. Esto hace que el diseño de cada habitación o espacio abierto dependa de la disponibilidad de ventilación. Este hermoso valle recibe su nombre de la roca de color rosa que varía en matiz e intensidad según la hora del día, la temporada y las condiciones climáticas. Durante la caminata visitaremos varias iglesias rupestres, casas cueva y túneles de cuevas. Rose Valley tiene caminos para niveles fáciles, medios y difíciles. El camino más común en el valle toma alrededor de 2 horas (3.5 km).

Aunque se pueden encontrar en toda Capadocia, son especialmente abundantes en este valle, que debe tener una de las mayores colecciones de palomares en el mundo. Fueron tallados donde el espacio lo permitía, incluyendo cuevas abandonadas y las paredes de iglesias derrumbadas. En Capadocia, las palomas han sido durante mucho tiempo una fuente de alimentos y fertilizantes. La llegada de los fertilizantes químicos ha reducido el uso de fertilizantes de palomas.
